STATELINE COMMUNITY ORCHESTRA

Stateline Community Orchestra is an amateur community orchestra that began in the fall of 2022 with the goal of providing performance opportunities for accomplished amateur musicians. The ensemble rehearses on Tuesday evenings at Pineville United Methodist Church in Pineville, NC. Thank you, PUMC! Our musicians come from a broad area including Mecklenburg. York, Lancaster and Gaston counties. Throughout its growth, the orchestra has prioritized a fun and supportive music making atmosphere, which has paid off; SCO has grown in each instrumental section.  With some of our sections being at or even slightly over ideal instrumentation, we will begin implementing audition policies in the fall of 2024. While there are still openings in our violin, viola, cello, and string bass sections, we maintain a sub list in other sections.
