Ushers play an important role in keeping worship services running smoothly. In addition to serving as greeters, ushers direct visitors with children to the nursery, help latecomers find seats, count attendance and collect the offering. In addition, ushers who serve at the 11 a.m. service assist with communion and securing the church buildings after worship has ended.
