Dayton Lewis Contemporary

Welcomes and encourages challenging issues to strengthen our faith through open communication, a supportive community environment and religiously diverse members.  The class participates in the Room in the Inn program, hosts open holiday socials and quarterly service projects and makes charitable gifts to the church and community.  Most members are in their 30s – 50s.

Meets in the Fellowship Building Room FB4. 

Emmaus

Invites people of all ages to journey together in search of meaning and ministry through both presentation and discussion.  Studies include the books of the Bible and seasonal lessons for Advent and Lent.

Meets in the Fellowship Building Room FB2.

On the second Friday of each month, class members meet at 11:15 a.m. in the Fellowship Building for Operation Sandwich, making sandwiches for the soup kitchen at the Urban Ministry Center. After those sandwiches are made, they make some for themselves while enjoying fellowship and a short devotional/Bible study. All are invited to participate.

John Wesley

Uses the International Lesson Series, a quarterly curriculum that covers all the major sections of the Bible, to spur lectures and discussions to help members have enough spiritual food to deal with the challenges of daily life.

Foundation

Focuses on Bible study as a foundation for living.  This class currently uses the International Lesson Series curriculum, a quarterly curriculum that covers all the major sections of the Bible.

Meets in the Crossroads Center Room CC7.

Seekers

For couples and parents of younger children; uses discussion to explore a variety of topics including parenting, money management, spiritual renewal and world religions.

Meets in Education Building Room 109.

Young Adult Connect & ReConnect

For young adults; open to college students and working young adults ages 18 to the early 20s. Offers the opportunity to discuss personal concerns and faith questions during this transitional period of their lives. The long-range goal of the class is to provide a comprehensive program that will involve Sunday School, social and service activities and Christian education opportunities.

Join the Young Adult Connection Sunday school class on Sunday, May 29, at 10 a.m. in a galaxy far, far away (also known as Room 105) as we begin The Gospel According to STAR WARS! Learn about how “The Force” and the Holy Spirit compare to each other and teach us to differentiate between good and evil.
