Diana Ashley —Preschool & PMO Director
Diana previously held the position of Program Director/Administrator for Mom’s House, Inc. in Dover, DE, where she managed the overall operation of the non-profit childcare facility.  Prior to that, Diana served as the Community Center Director for The Salvation Army—Dover Corps. Here she developed and managed the Summer Camp, After School Care program, Soup Kitchen, and volunteer programs.  While in college in IN, Diana served as the Youth/Assistant Pastor at Pleasantdale United Methodist Church. Diana holds a Bachelor Degree in Christian Education from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Master of Arts Degree in Religion from Liberty University.  She was commissioned for the Chaplaincy with Marketplace Chaplains USA.  Diana resides in SC and enjoys the entertainment of her three boys, playing softball, and staying active in the community.
Cristy Harris—Infant Room Teacher (PMO)
Cristy has multiple years of experience providing care for children aging in range from infants through school-age.  She has provided care for children in her home, offering stimulating activities to develop fine motor and verbal skills.  Cristy has served as a substitute teacher for all age ranges at Pineville UMC Preschool.  Cristy’s educational background includes courses in Early Childhood Education from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC, as well as ongoing ECE workshops and seminars.  Cristy stays busy with her three children and their various extra-curricular sports.
Stacey Kirk—Lead 2 year old Teacher
Stacey previously worked as a nanny where she learned the value of re-direction and parent/child separation anxiety. Stacey stays involved with the community and parent-child activities through volunteer community work.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in US History and continues to attend Early Childhood Education workshops and seminars.  With experience as a waitress, cook, and business owner, Stacey values customer service and the interaction between parent/teacher.  Stacey enjoys reading and spending time with her three children and their busy schedules.
Lynn Faltin—Assistant 2 year old Teacher/Science Teacher
Lynn has many years of experience working with children of all ages in various classroom and non-traditional settings. She is very active in parent/child volunteer organizations as well as with Winget Elementary where she serves as a Room Parent.  Lynn continues to serve as a substitute for PUMC’s PMO & Preschool classes.  Lynn has also piloted and leads our preschool Science classes for 2’s, 3’s and 4’s.  She attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Studied English and continues her learning through Early Childhood Education workshops and seminars.  Lynn enjoys gardening, reading, and raising her two children in a bi-lingual household (English-German).
Melissa Ralston—Lead 3 year old Teacher
Melissa is a pioneer of the PMO/Preschool programs at PUMC.  She has served as a substitute preschool teacher in NC’s Bright Beginnings Program for 3 and 4 year olds in Greenville, NC.  She is a member of Harrison UMC where she teaches the 4 year old Sunday School class.  Melissa holds a degree in Physical Therapy, Specializing in Pediatrics.  Melissa especially enjoys working with fine motor skill development and early foundations for school readiness.  Melissa enjoys reading and spending time with her three children.
Judy Sinicki—Lead 4 year old Teacher
Judy previously worked at Sharon Presbyterian Weekday School as the teacher of the 4 year old classroom. In this position, she evaluated students for kindergarten readiness and lead open houses and parent orientations.  Judy has been active in various roles at St. Ann Catholic School and Trinity Catholic Middle School.  She has volunteered in teaching roles, taught Vacation Bible School classes, and held PTO positions as Vice President and Treasurer.  Judy graduated from Central Piedmont Community College with a paralegal degree.  She continues to enhance her educational skills through Early Childhood Education workshops and seminars.  She enjoys time spent with her children.
