Evenings at Dorchester

Pineville UMC’s older adults connect with other older adults living at the Dorchester Retirement Center.  Every fourth Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m., our members provide a wide variety of entertainment including handbells, a radio show, etc.

Athletics Ministry


Free Blood Pressure Checks

Free blood pressure screenings are offered on the first Sunday of each month at 9:30 a.m. and on the third Sunday of each month at 12 p.m. in Room 105.  Registered nurses and other qualified individuals administer the tests.

Golden Pines

The Golden Pines offers fellowship opportunities to retired and semi-retired members of the church and the community.  Monthly luncheons are provided by ladies of the church.  Day and overnight trips include plays, historical sites and other points of interest.

The monthly luncheons are held on the first Wednesday of each month (except August) at 11 a.m.  The cost is $5.

Thursday, December 1 - Friday, December 2 Kick the holidays off with a trip to Springmaid Beach Resort (Myrtle Beach, S.C.)!  See two show and start or finish your Christmas shopping at the annual Arts & Crafts Festival.

Lunch Bunch

The Lunch Bunch is an energetic and welcoming fellowship of Pineville UMC’s senior ladies.  

The group visits a different restaurant on the second Wednesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. for good food and better conversation.  There is no cost beyond that of your meal. Transportation can be arranged from the church or your home.  Anyone is welcome to join the Lunch Bunch.
