Pineville United Methodist Church (Pineville UMC) respects the privacy of visitors to pinevilleumc.org and recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of personally identifiable information collected from them. As a general policy, no personally identifiable information, such as a visitor's name, address, e-mail address or telephone number, is automatically collected on our Web site. Such information is collected only when knowingly and voluntarily submitted, and Pineville UMC uses such information only for the purpose for which it was submitted, unless we disclose other uses in this Privacy Policy or at the time of collection.
We maintain reasonable and appropriate safeguards to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of such information in our possession. Pineville UMC does not give, sell, trade or rent personally identifiable information to third parties.

Pineville UMC is the sole owner of and the only organization that uses the information collected on this Web site. Information on individual site visitors is requested for purposes such as event registration, merchandise purchase, future direct mailings and information requests. Our registration and contact forms require visitors to give us contact information that may include name, street address, city, state, zip code, telephone number and e-mail address. We do not request or store sensitive information from our visitors, such as credit card or Social Security numbers.
Photographs
Pineville UMC maintains a separate photo policy that governs the use of images and photos of church members and visitors both on pinevilleumc.org and throughout the church campus. Review our photo policy.
Opt-Out
Our online registration form has an “opt-out” mechanism for users who wish to register for an event or place orders, but do not wish to receive addition information from Pineville UMC. At any time, you can also make an opt-out request and/or amend or correct your personal information maintained by Pineville UMC by contacting the church office or calling us at 704/889-2022.
Changing your information
If at any time you wish to make changes to the personal information previously provided, we will take steps to verify your identity before making any corrections. You will be asked specific reference questions including full name, address, phone numbers and email address, if applicable.
Aggregate Information
In addition to information provided by our visitors, we track site visits using normal Internet tracking tools to help manage our system and better serve our visitors.
