Pineville UMC applies the United Methodist Church’s Safe Sanctuary policies to everyone who works with children and youth.
We provide a nurturing, supportive, Christian environment where children can explore and learn through hands-on activities.
We invite parents of children ages 6 months to 2 years to join UMC's Parent's Morning Out (PMO) program.
The PMO program is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon, from the Tuesday after Labor Day through the Thursday before Memorial Day. (We follow Charlotte-Mecklenburg School’s calendar and inclement weather policy.)
The PMO program operates on a reservation/drop-in schedule. Parents can make reservations on a month-to-month basis by contacting the director at (704) 889-2022 to maintain a spot for a child each month unless the parent needs to make a change.
Drop-in spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If parents need to drop or add days, we will do our best to accommodate those requests.
The PMO program will provide a light snack of goldfish or animal crackers. Parents may send juice or milk from home in a sippy cup; if a child has no drink, PMO staff will provide juice. Do not send snacks from home unless health-related. Do send a change of clothes in case of accidents.
The registration fee is $60 per child. The daily rate is $15 per child per day.
