There are several ways to become a member of our congregation:

  • by profession of faith and baptism, if you were never baptized;
  • by renewal of vows if baptized (in any faith) and you don't currently have a church; 
  • by letter of transfer from another United Methodist congregation; 
  • by transfer from another denomination; 
  • by becoming an affiliate member (you attend Pineville UMC but maintain membership in another United Methodist Church); or  
  • by becoming an associate member (you attend Pineville UMC but maintain membership in church of another denomination).
